GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026: The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB) has released a new recruitment notification for Staff Nurse, Class-3 posts under the Director of Health and Family Welfare Department and the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme.

Eligibility: GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026

Candidates applying for the Staff Nurse, Class-3 post must meet the educational requirements prescribed in the recruitment rules dated 17 June 2025.

Candidates must have either:

• A B.Sc. Nursing degree from a recognized university/institution, with recognition by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council; or
• A Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an institution recognized by the Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the relevant Gujarat Government rules.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on 12 October 2026.

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 35 years

Age relaxation is available as per Gujarat Government rules for applicable categories, women, Ex-servicemen and Divyang candidates.

Salary Details: GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026

Salary is an important part of this recruitment.

Selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 40,800 per month for the first five years.

After satisfactory completion of five years, candidates will be appointed on the regular Level-5 pay scale of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300, as per the 7th Pay Commission.

The selection process will be conducted through a competitive examination consisting of two papers.
